Brand Story
Casadei was founded in 1958 in a small workshop in San Mauro Pascoli, where Quinto and Flora Casadei created the first collection of sandals designed for tourists spending their holidays on the Italian Riviera. It was a time of economic boom and the “Made in Italy” miracle. In just ten years, the workshop turned into a small, highly specialized footwear company that exported its products to Germany and the USA.
In the 1970s, the development of the brand continued with the first advertising campaigns, exports to Japan and the opening of the first store in Brussels in 1977. The 1980s saw the consolidation of the brand on international markets, especially in the Middle East.
Currently with 21 flagship stores, Casadei is preparing corners in La Rinascente in Milan and Rome, and boutiques in Shanghai and Moscow on exclusive Albemarle Street, Mayfair London.

HOW TO CHOOSE CLOTHES FOR HOLIDAY?
If we choose smaller luggage, we have to pack less clothes, which means that we have a difficult choice. First of all, let’s choose universal clothes that can be combined with each other to create different styles. It is also worth having clothes made of fabrics that crease less. It is worth paying attention not to take new clothes with you – shoes can rub, and the dress can be uncomfortable – it is worth betting on proven sets of clothes

The holiday look will be complemented by sandals – which are hit this summer. At the very beginning, prepare a list of what you need to take with you. There are many ways that make it easier to create a so-called “checklist”. You can even use a smartphone that you always have with you. Open a notebook and write down the things you would like to take with you on vacation. Already at the very stage of preparing the list, you will see how many things you can give up when packing. Remember that in addition to clothes, you should also pack cosmetics and hygiene products. Also, don’t forget about a small first aid kit. It also takes up some space. Never pack in installments – by doing it all at once, you can save more time. When packing a suitcase, put all your things in one place first – thanks to this you can realistically assess whether all the planned things will fit.
There is also no point in going to extremes, the most important thing is to feel comfortable on vacation. If you feel better with one more pair of pants, pack it. It’s best to keep a balance and not overdo it in any direction.

The basis of our lower part of the wardrobe – pants and skirts. In the case of pants, the ones with high waist emphasizing the length of our legs are very characteristic of power dressing. When we look at skirts, there is one main rule here – knee length and pencil cut.
Classic cuts in subdued colors work best here. However, reading our previous article “Must Have 2020“, it is noticeable that bold colors this season will be just as appreciated as classics. Don’t be afraid to put on jackets for everyday stylizations and try “something” new!
The strongest and most characteristic element of women’s power dressing is a suit! Suits can be divided into classic and those following current trends. Patterned and expressive suits are a hot hit of summer 2020. Depending on the situation, other elements of the suit will work better. For more formal situations, we recommend a suit with a double-breasted jacket and long trousers with a narrower leg. In everyday situations, a single-breasted jacket with wider legs will work better.

Each of us is different. Some of us have full hips, others have narrow hips and a wide waist. No matter what body type you have, you definitely want to feel good and attractive! There are different silhouettes, which can be divided into 5 basic types:

1. Hourglass
An often interchangeable name is the “X” silhouette. The “hourglass” is characterized by wider shoulders and hips that are similar in size to each other. The waist is relatively narrow. If you are a person with this type of figure, you should evenly expose your bust and hip curves, but remember to emphasize the waistline. When it comes to clothes, you should use delicate fabrics such as cottons or lightweight wools. Clothes must lie “lightly” on you. Remember to avoid “box cuts” in which you will lose your femininity!
If your hips are wider and your shoulders are soft, you’re a pear. With this type of figure, try to slim down your lower parts through slim cuts, while the upper parts of the body must be slightly optically widened. Dresses with long sleeves will be a very good cut for you. Blouses with a “boat” neckline and dropped onto the shoulders with the so-called. spanish neckline. For the bottom, we suggest high-waisted trousers. Cigarillos and tubes will also work.

3. Inverted Triangle
The inverted triangle is the opposite of the silhouette described above. This silhouette is popularly referred to as the “Y” silhouette or the “swimmer” silhouette. That is, broad shoulders, medium-sized bust and a long waist are the hallmarks. If you are the owner of this type of figure, we advise you to optically add “width” or even “fluffiness” around the hips. The more commonly used term is the “apple” silhouette. This silhouette is characterized by a full bust and tummy, a flat lower part, and shapely legs. Legs are an element that you should expose if your figure is oval. As for the clothes themselves, we offer knee-length dresses and skirts! The V-neck will optically lengthen your neck and add lightness to the upper part of your figure. When choosing clothes, do not look for those that are close to the body, you will look unfavorable in them. Wrinkles and frills will also adversely affect your appearance.

5. Rectangle
The so-called “boyish” figure, often called the “H” figure. If you have a similar circumference of your arms, bust, waist and hips, you are most likely a “rectangle”. With this type of figure, you can be both massive and very slim. Despite the name “boyish”, you can be as sexy as an hourglass when choosing the right clothes. In this case, you should focus on exposing and optically widening the hips to get a visible waist. A good example are skirts and dresses sewn from a circle or bauble type. A flared cut with a cut-off at the waist will also work. Remember that your “top” must be slightly hidden. Long sleeves and a rounded, shallow neckline will fit perfectly.

Regardless of the seasonality, we always check what type of fabric is included in the new clothes before buying. So why not choose materials that will be comfortable and at the same time make our clothes look aesthetically pleasing? Clothes made of poor materials will quickly lose their color, will not fit properly to our figure, will pill and stretch out. Let’s take a look at some materials to look out for when purchasing:
Cellulose fibers such as viscose or modal are light and soft, pleasant to the touch. They allow the skin to breathe, making them very airy. Clothes with these materials are extremely durable and absorb moisture very well! However, they are prone to creasing and may shrink when washed at too high temperatures!
Polyamide fibers, polyester fibers or elastic fibers, such as Elastin or Lycra, give clothes high elasticity, crease resistance, do not lose color quickly, and additionally do not cause allergies. You will find their admixture in many clothes, which makes them more durable. However, these fibers “do not breathe” which is their biggest disadvantage.
Cashmere is a material with many wonderful properties. It is very durable, does not absorb odors and is resistant to dirt. Importantly, cashmere fibers store the heat we generate, thanks to which they protect us from cold and heat. The only downside of cashmere is its price, but it is worth paying because cashmere clothes are an investment for many years.
Not only when buying clothes do we pay attention to the label. What about shoes?
When buying shoes, we also pay attention to the material from which they are made. In the case of shoes , we recommend natural and velor leather (suede). These materials are characterized by softness and elasticity, which makes them pleasant to walk on and adapt to the foot. Natural leather does not cause abrasions, making these shoes very comfortable. Leather is also hydrophobic and easy to maintain, but remember that it requires frequent maintenance to maintain its beautiful and natural appearance.
