Shoes have been arousing human minds since ancient times, which is confirmed by the fact that they are attributed with various symbolism. There are different interpretations of shoes in dream books. According to them, putting on shoes in a dream portends success and an improvement in the material situation, and walking in too large shoes is to prove your progress in action, but at the same time it states that you are acting without a plan.

This superstition is as popular as the previous one. Almost everyone knows that you shouldn’t keep your shoes on the table. In the past, bread was considered a gift from God and treated with great respect – bread could not be thrown away, and when a piece of it accidentally fell to the ground, it had to be picked up and kissed. Due to the fact that bread was eaten at the table, it was identified with the altar, so putting shoes on it was considered an insult to God and threatened with imminent misfortune.

There are a lot of superstitions about shoes at weddings and weddings. First of all, on the eve of the wedding, the bride should put her shoes on the windowsill to catch enough happiness in them.
