Until recently, there was a belief that the clothes we wear should fulfill their functions and be comfortable and suited to every occasion. But have you ever wondered what the colors you just put on today say about you?
Guess who am I? 
Color psychology is otherwise known as color symbolism or non-verbal communication. It can perfectly reflect our:
- character
- the mood we’re in right now
- attitude to work or personal life.
Our subconscious is responsible for the choice of a given color of clothes. It decides what we reach for in the wardrobe, and awareness helps us decide on the fact of wearing it.
From a psychological point of view, knowing the symbolism of color allows us to communicate better with other people and help in difficult situations.

At my aunt’s name day … surprise everyone in pastel colors! These are perfect colors for unofficial family gatherings. Let’s reach for them especially in spring and summer. Pastel goes perfectly with white, grey, brown and black. Then there is no restriction in the selection of jewelry, which should be a mandatory element of the wardrobe.
It has been known for a long time that the navy blue color and its derivatives prove our professionalism both at work and when we apply for a job. Unfortunately, the dress code in many companies is very conservative – supported by proven standards, e.g. black dresses are perfect for women holding managerial positions, while those who maintain frequent contact with the client look perfect with navy blue and dark blue clothes.
Each of us, on the occasion of great events, observes famous personalities from the world of fashion and cinema, in which they shone that evening. Do standards even then apply? Yes, evening parties are a great opportunity to wear a red, fuchsia or purple dress. It is also worth reaching for burgundy or cobalt. What about the white color? Absolutely, but we must make sure that the dress is made of high-quality material!
A play of colors in sports fashion
